So there are a series of different mysteries using HMM regular actors. This is the only one I like (in fact, I hate Murder She Baked because of its disrespect to Murder She Wrote which series HMM airs. Really? Did you have to rip off Jessica Fletcher's show title?)
Anyway....even though I can spot the perpetrator within minutes in these shows, which are two hour films, I still enjoy them. There is a new one each Sunday this month and I did like last Sunday's even though as I say, I guessed the killer almost immediately.
Maybe I just like the acting a little better than in the others (Lori Laughlin stars) and I love the idea of her making her living by owning a vintage re-sale shop (oh, how I would love to have one!). I like her family too. IMO her husband in it bears a striking resemblance to actor Dean Cain and could play his older brother in something.
These films are very formulaic and I could do without the side stories in them about her family or her ditzy partner or whatever they are about, in which case they could cut it down to a one-hour show rather than two. Yet I still watch these. There is one on tonight and I'll be watching.
Anyone else like these made-for-TV mysteries?
