She probably didn't have HBO or Showtime. I didn’t, @MaverDaver.
My husband wanted to rewatch Nurse Jackie so we started that the other night.

Adrianna.
One of my favorite characters.

If you don't mind the foul language and violence it's a great series. I live in NJ now and grew up in Queens NY so the show is very familiar to me. DH drove a lot in commuting and recognized all the landmarks shown in the opening scenes (got myself a gun).

The saddest episode of the show. Annie Lenox singing "Why" in the background. It still gives me goosebumps.

Really enjoyed The Sopranos. We have it on DVD. Right now we're watching The West Wing series (also on DVD). Another favortie. Probably start watching Sopranos after West Wing. TV has been awful.

Back when The Soprano series was on every Sunday nite, my Hubby would tape it & our Daughter & Son-in-Law would drive over & pick it up after work. They couldn't afford HBO & loved the series. I personally as a proud Italian did not care for the series, nor the Godfather Movies because of how they portrayed Italians. I was called some terrible demeaning names growing up by some ignorant people in my neighborhood. Thus these Movies just annoy me.

Another HBO series back then in my opinion that was magnificent is ...Six Feet Under. If I could only have three dramas I was allowed to watch for the rest of my life, they would be The Sopranos, Six Feet Under and Mad Men. (AMC).

Definitely my #2 fav! The best of the best final episode in tv history, imo.
Amazingly well written and acted- all episodes.
