NBC NY: Guns Found at Sean "Diddy" Combs LA and Miami Properties During Federal Search

Federal agents found firearms during searches of properties belonging to Sean "Diddy" Combs in both Los Angeles and Miami, according to three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News on Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear what kind of firearms were found or who they belonged to.

Homeland Security Investigations executed warrants out of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday and seized his phones in Miami before he was scheduled to depart for a trip to the Bahamas.

The music mogul is a subject of a federal criminal investigation amid several lawsuits filed against him in recent months, a source familiar with the matter told NBC News.

The source said three women and a man had been interviewed by federal officials in Manhattan in relation to allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms.

Aaron Dyer, an attorney for Combs, described Monday's searches as "gross overuse of military-level force." Neither Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested, Dyer noted in his statement.

"There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated," Dyer said. "Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities."

Combs is innocent and "will continue to fight every single day to clear his name," Dyer said, adding that Combs had not been found liable of the allegations against him..

It is apparent from subsequent posts that only Harry's name is mentioned that this will turn into rumors about him and let's toss in M just for kicks.

Right now my concern is for anyone who was caught up in being trafficked if any allegations are true.

Most of what I've read online (admittedly isn't much) suggests that Harry's name was just added for effect.  I saw a photo online from years ago that included both Harry and William with Diddy, but I didn't seen William's name included in the recent Harry headlines.  At the time, I think it's possible celebrities could have been hanging around Diddy for the publicity and association (which would've been generally positive at the time from what I recall).

I'm curious to see any evidence (if any exists). I tend to embrace "innocent until proven guilty" which sometimes doesn't align with public opinion.  This could turn into Harry's next libel case, and if he's truly innocent, I hope he sues.

And I agree the focus should be on the victims.  I hope they and their loved ones are getting the support they need.

So, the 2016 video of Combs attacking his then-girlfriend is all over the internet.  The Los Angeles DA is unable to charge him with assault as the statute of limitations has run out.  

The story is that what happened right before that is they were staying at the hotel and she waited for him to fall asleep so she could gather her things and leave.  He reached her at the elevator.

Nice guy.

No wonder the civil suit she filed against him last year was settled quietly the very next day.

Who leaked the video to CNN & where has it beem all these years?  The hotel changed owners years ago.

Nothing funny at all about that video, it's sickening and revolting.

That hotel engaged in morally bankrupt and what should be criminal conduct by taking 50 grand from his "people" for that video. 

It was probably leaked by a former employee of the hotel or of  Combs.

I see nothing remotely funny about a woman trying to escape to safety being kicked, beaten, dragged.  Left with a black eye and other injuries.

You can bet he settled.  Anything to cover it up.  And how many other women did he abuse the same way or worse?  Well, as they say, time's up!
