SURVIVOR--Week of March 26 2025

Well, that was a pretty lackluster tribal council.  I knew it wasn't going to be Sai because the scenes that showed her not getting along with her tribemates weren't in the episode.  They probably should have done themselves a favor.

The two challenges were pretty good ones and I almost had a panic attack over Eva in the immunity challenge. That was one of the most powerful moments I've ever seen.  Bless Joe for trying to calm her down from afar.  Bless Jeff for recognizing that Eva needed some help even after the challenge ended.

I officially think Cedrek is one of the worst players in the history of Survivor.  I would hate to think I was in an alliance with him because he flip flops so often.

I wonder if we are getting to the point that we will have 2 tribes until merge?  Have a good week everyone!

@TrueBlue1 it wasn't Sai that was voted off...

Even thinking back to the Eva at the end of the challenge brings tears to my eyes.  There was pain and frustration on Joe's face watching what Eva was going through.  I don't know how he held off going to her for so long.

Kudos to Eva for all she said about her autism, the depth she went into had to be eye opening for a lot of viewers and encouraging to those living with autism.

Best episode ever.

Can't help but wonder who will turn first--will Cedrek vote out Sai or will Sai vote out Cedrek.

Sai would be gone if not for the obvious interference from the producers. They want certain ones surviving for the drama.

Yeah, I suspect the producers do a certain amount of steering the votes to go in certain directions. Reality TV doesn't have to follow the same rules as game shows. It's better for the show to have more boring characters voted out and the crazier ones to hang around a bit. The goal of the producers is to make the most entertaining show possible. If they have to tilt things in favor of one character over another one, so be it.

I felt sorry for Joe. He clearly cares for Eva and wants to help her, but that puts a target on him.  They'll be viewed as a pair and pairs get targeted early in the game. Add in the fact that he's a big physical presence and he's likely gone before too long. His own tribe will be wondering where his true allegiance lies and suspect if it comes down to one of them or Eva, he'll vote to keep Eva. That makes him expendable.
