@Squirrels Are Trash ... I'm so sorry you went through this too... as well as @Alsace Gal ... I'm 75 but remember that summer when l was about 8 or 9. I can still picture the whole thing... People say it was much safer back in the 50s growing up. Not in my small town. I'd like to see a list from every town and city in our country to see how many of us were s**ually abused. That would be One. Long. List. Sending love to all of us. ❤️

I was 2 when it started. I remember it clearly.

@Alsace Gal ... He also tried to hang my brother from a tree who he supposedly was friends with. My mother saw out the window and ran outside and caught him just in time.  ...but my parents never did anything about it !! Brother was 5 years older than me. They didn't know about me until years later. What do we do to help us ?????

Mine wasn't a relative, it was the adult son of a woman who baby sat us as my dear mother worked, and yes, she knew what her son was doing to me. It happened to me every morning.

when you're young there isn't anything we can do to protect us.
