Mitzi Gaynor, who starred in South Pacific and many other plays and shows, passed away at 93 peacefully from natural causes. They announced it today.

I LOVED her from the time I saw her in South Pacific! I would stand in front of my bedroom mirror and "sing" "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair."

When DS was in high school they chose this as their spring musical. He was in the chorus.

 I always tried to see the many TV specials she did. Any time I saw her on TV she seemed so happy and nice.

What a dancer and what a beauty. Never heard anything scandalous about her, just a hard worker.  Just a bit ago watched a video on YT and it is old, but she was wearing a very provacative gown.  That gown was way before it's time, but she kept her performance classy and entertaining.  RIP pretty lady.

South Pacific was on recently. She was a joy to watch.
