I have it taped but haven't watched it yet. I love Leonard. He's a kind soul. I hope they free him soon. Grantchester is a great show.

Geez.......I wish you had put "Granchester Spoiler" in your subject line. Without even opening the post I saw what happened last night. It's only been about 13 hours since the show aired. I'm sure there are many of us who haven't watched it yet.

I didn't see the show but it sounds like Leonard is in some kind of jeopardy.

We're into the fifth episode of the season, so by now most viewers are aware that Leonard has essentially been in trouble since the first episode of the season, when he began being blackmailed for being gay and pictured with another man in a largely innocent but still compromising situation. This story line has been a part of every episode this season. It, then, should be no surprise to learn his peril continues. Leonard is a dear and I think most feeling human beings want this threat resolved. If it's any consolation, I believe I saw in a blurb about next season's shows that Leonard was in them, so while we don't know in what capacity, it appears he'll still be around. As for Grantchester, it's still decent viewing but not what it was a number of years ago.

I enjoy Grantchester very much.  A bit of an edge left with Sydney, however, I do appreciate the true friendship between Will and Leonard.  Leonard is a kind and caring man who is just beginning to feel comfortable in his own skin.  The show is representing how lives were judged at the time.

I'm also enjoying how Kathy has stepped out and spoken out on her own as a free thinking woman.
