Oscar night used to be so fun with all my friends watching and critiquing the dresses but the last several years none of us could care less.  No movies that are worth going to see and I certainly can't sit through all the acceptance speeches 🤮

Well, got a little bored (maybe a tad curious), turned on some live streaming of the red carpet...didn't catch much, but what I saw...Demi Moore looked stunning. Have no clue what she supposedly might win for tonight, but...she's dressed for it!

And all other women I saw, all had on beautiful, classic, Oscar worthy gowns and looked beautiful.

But, I only saw about 5..

I will say as far as being "up" on movies...I had been meaning to watch "A Complete Unknown" Bob Dylan biopic...I thought it was streaming on Netflix at one point...or somewhere...I'll have to check.

Have red carpet still on, (I guess they just switched to different hosted red carpet...all on ABC streaming)..on mute as I type...just saw Halle Barry, looks as young, from a distance as she did 20 yrs ago. So, I'm thinking metallic, mermaid, like with scales, dresses are "the thing" this year. I haven't hated one yet. Everyone who wore one's bodies were in "bangin' shape" ...as they say...

Oh...ok it was on mute, I don't know who this Asian man is...talking and likely involved in Wicked...LOVE the green suit he has on. Looks sharp, and classic, yet so appropriately sparkley green! 💚 

Oh ok, Jon M. Chu? "Man behind Wicked"...I'm getting a quick "schooling" tonight...out of the loop.

This year's Oscars is a snoozefest. I'm going to bed at 11:00 if it's over or not.

In my opinion, my opinion only, these actors are heavily over payed for their craft. They dress-up, play pretend, and live in a world unlike the average person. I just don't take anything they say as credible.

I don't watch the Oscars, but was scanning X, and when Mick Jagger made his appearance on the Oscar stage, that caused quite a twitter sensation, and people did tweet out the clip of him taking the stage by storm.

Mick looked carefree as he walked out to applause, and appears pretty vibrant at age 81--

I record everything ... pre-show and awards  ....  and fast forward through much of it.

HOW can anyone watch in real-time with what seemed like commercial breaks lasting 6 minutes?   Who can do this?  I'd be lost without FF.

I must admit, I enjoyed the shows more when I knew the actresses and cared about their outfits.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but when Adrian Brody won, they showed his wife/partner Georgina a few times.

She used to be Mrs Harvey Weinstein.   I wonder if they let him watch the show from jail.

Oh that was Georgina Chapman?   I thought she just looked like her.  Good for them.  He seems like a sweet guy.
