Katie Couric's husband, attorney Jay Monahan, was also on a local NYC television panel discussion about the case: it was called "OJ Today" and provided a daily recap of court proceedings.
I watched it often. I found the trial fascinating to follow.

I shall not mourn his passing. That whole fiasco was a miscarriage of justice in my not-so-humble opinion.

Does anyone remember how repulsive his behavior was afterwards when he joked and wrote some sort of book "If I did it" How did he think his children (Nicole's children) and the Goldmans felt about that? It was no joke to them.

The late Dominick Dunne, having known many of the principals, and as familiar as he was with that L.A. world, was an acute observer of the murder and trial fiasco. His observations and articles are a compulsively readable and devastating record of the time.

Hi @Oznell I remember Dominick Dunne. Wasn't his daughter or a family murdered as well? Sorry a bit off topic but he was dedicated to that court case.

His daughter was murdered. Strangled by boyfriend. She was an actress. The case was solved. The Nicole Simpson/Ron Goldman case is offically open. But the police have not searched for another suspect for years. Some cases will never be closed (Jon Benet is the other one) Don't lforget that Simpson was found liable in the civil trial. So it's best to forget the criminal trial.

You would think that someone on their death bed would confess but he never did. I don't know what to make of that. I've been open-minded about the case since it happened. Glad I wasn't on the jury.
