Love that movie...

 

Watched a 1982 movie the other night with Dyan Cannon (married to Carey at one time), and I forgot how pretty she was.  It was an awful movie, but she was cute as a button and fun to watch.

 

Don't know much about her marriage to Cary G., but I'll be it was interesting!

When Martin Landau was contracted to play his part in this film,he and Hitchcock spent some time developing his character.

I read Dyan's book called Dear Cary. The beginning of their relationship sounded romantic at times, but he gave a lot of mixed messages. According to her, he was the pursuer. However, he was very insecure and controlling. The book changed the way I saw the man, but not the actor. Still enjoy watching his movies.

For those watching this again as I will be, I can't take my eyes off Eva's beautiful ruby necklace she wears with the gorgeous red dress. She looks ---- stunning. I wish I had that outfit.

And as many times as I even that film, the climb down the monument is always suspenseful.

And Cary = ROT. Too funny.
