I watched an interview on the Graham Norton show last night where he had both the actor and Bruce Springsteen together, talking about the movie.

When they chose this actor, can you believe he didn't play any instruments OR sing?

Apparently not a hit. Only pulled in nine million opening weekend.

Am not a fan so won't be going to see it

This may be a petty criticism on my part, but Jeremy Allen White just doesn't physically resemble Mr. Springsteen enough to make me want to see this film.

I'm not really a Springsteen fan, although I have seen him in concert.  I do like Jeremy Allen White though so I will probably see this movie.

No.

The only song I know by him is "Born In The USA."

I personally knew Clarence Clemons as just an ordinary person, not as part of E St. Band.

Re: New Springsteen move: Deliver Me from Nowhere

I am a big Springsteen fan. I have been to a number of concerts over the years.

However, I did not care for the album Nebraska. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the movie is suppose to be about the period of time when the album Nebraska was created. I am disappointed because the E Street band in the New Jersey days would have been much more interesting.

I hope there are those out there that will enjoy it anyway, but I won't be seeing this until it reaches cable.

I saw the movie yesterday.  I am being generous by rating the movie an "7.5 out of 10" - - much too slow and disjointed.  The acting, however, was very, very good.  I love movies so I was not sorry I spent my time and money to see the film.

Haven't seen the movie . Only seen the ads on TV.  The actor will likely get  an academy award.

@San Antonio Gal  Apple TV + has Bruce Springsteen's Letter to You. It's a tribute to the E Street Band and is a documentary that came out in 2020.
