I'm looking forward to this new show. It's on tomorrow night at 10:00 on TNT..It stars Ed Burns as a detective. It takes place in NYC in the 1960's. I believe both Ed Burns and Steven Spielberg are behind this show.

Thanks for the reminder to everyone.  I'd totally forgotten.  Setting the DVR as we speak.

Re: New Show Public Morals

The first episode didn't blow me away. I'll watch next week and if I'm still feeling the same way, I'll remove the series from my DVR.

Tique, you eloquently said exactly how I feel (only you said it better than I could have).

I found it boring.  I'll follow your lead for next week.  I will say I found it depressing.  Maybe it's the way (color) it's filmed (so dark).

I am almost 70 so I was a teen in the early 60's.  Watching this show makes me feel like I'm 100 years old.  Everything just seemed so old....

Did anyone else feel that way?
