Re: “Ned and Tara” From the Otezla Commercial

To me the old lady in that commercial represents his psoriasis. She's right there with him at the beginning but then goes away only to return in the distance...still there but away enough to be not as noticeable.

I just thought they were related. S & B. ???  And, is that little old lady a relative too? Makes NO sense what so ever!!

Maybe @SilleeMee  has figured it out.

I doubt they're related unless they haven't seen in other in 25 years.

He checks his phone to review her photo (presumably a dating app) and Tara asks him "Ned??"

The idea that the older lady represents Ned's psoriasis is really interesting.   Note that she is wearing a pink coat (or is it a jacket?) and clings to him at the beginning,  basically showing him off to the crowd assembled to see Ned.

By the end, as they exit, she has changed:  her coat is darker and she waves her acknowledgement that things are changing and good bye!

Re: “Ned and Tara” From the Otezla Commercial

I thnk I'd better pay more attention this commercial the next time I see it.

This commercial has driven me nuts for the longest time.  I dread when it comes on.  I, too, don't "get" how they meet up, see the movie, then just leave.  And I really don't understand why they freeze-frame all the others in theater.  One lady's putting on lipstick, one guy is asleep on someone's shoulder, and the popcorn and sodas are also freeze-framed.

The white-haired lady, too, doesn't make sense.  She waves, winks, and walks off.

BUTTTT now after reading the thoughts that this might all represents the actual psoriasis makes me think, hmm, maybe that's what it is!!!  I also need to notice the change in color of the white-haired lady's coat.  I've honestly never paid attention.

Great insight!!!
