Here's another thing I don't understand. The apartment this couple lived in (in Houston) looked like a dump in the worst section of the city. No furniture, no nothing.
In that other segment with the girl and Tim, they were living in either an apartment, or renting a house that was really nice. It was two floors, fully furnished, the kitchen was large with granite countertops and brand new (looked like) appliances. Two leather couches among other furniture and no laundry or junk lying around. Two large flat screen TV's, etc..... I also noticed there were crayon drawings that kids make - taped all around the kitchen, so I think this might have been a rental or just something for TLC to use, for the show?? It looked familiar to me, as though another couple used it on a different show. JMO though
So, who pays for all this and why are some living quarters better than others? Tim had a job in their original home and also when they moved to Houston. How do these people just up and move, whether they have jobs or not, unless he managed to get a job transfer. At least, he did the packing and driving.
Also, has anyone else noticed that most of the obese people are the ones who drive. Their boyfriends/husbands usually sit in the passenger seat, ala Freddie - or they have relatives or friends going along with them and helping with the driving.
