Mrs Palfry at the Claremount by Elizabeth Taylor

[ Edited ]

I'm watching this movie with Joan Plowright who you will probably recognize. I've always loved her.

Anyway, loving it.

And never knew Elizabeth Taylor wrote this book!

Elizabeth Taylor is one of my favorite authors.All of her books are most worthy of your attention.

I taught a class on three of her novels; I treasure her work!

(Of course I'm not referring to the actress.)

This movie is pretty old. I saw it many years ago at the movie theater when it first came out.

What a lovely photo of a mature woman. So enjoy looking at vintage photos of women and how they dressed up for all types of occasions.

Yes, I think that was made pretty clear above.

@KLevineFan -

Thank you because I did not realize that! I kept thinking why didn't I ever know she wrote books?

Found this about the author-

"The novelist Elizabeth Taylor's career began with a stroke of bad luck. She sold her first book, an understated satire about a young wife on an Air Force base in wartime Britain, in 1945. A few months earlier, “National Velvet” had made the twelve-year-old actress Elizabeth Taylor an international star.Jun 16, 2015"
