Tammy Faye, LOL, plus Edwin mentioning "Baby Jane". Cat Tongue

Fun fact:  Edwin is played by Sam Anderson, who was one half of the couple Bernard and Rose on the TV series 'Lost'.

Well, this will be interesting ...........

David Del Rio has brought in one of Hollywood's most powerful attorneys -- Shawn Holley -- in the wake of his sudden firing from CBS' "Matlock" after his costar Leah Lewis accused him of sexual assault ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Del Rio retained Holley -- whose client list includes the likes of  Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and Lindsay Lohan -- this week as he navigates the fallout from the allegation that got him booted from the hit CBS show last month.

It's not "all Wellbrexa all the time."  I'm happy they throw in a second legal drama with each show.

So now its cat and mouse with both Julian and Olympia for Maddie, getting tiresome, each one outsmarting the other one like a game

Re: Matlock Season 2

[ Edited ]

The acting is what's keeping this afloat for me. They seem to think they can drag out the original premise forever as long as they throw in a weekly trial of someone down at heel being rescued by 'the team'. No. I'm tired of it. All of it, but Mattie and Olympia's performances and complex relationship somehow keep it going. As for the junior lawyers, I'd like to see them both written out. They add nothing to the show. There have been other supporting characters who could potentially be far more interesting and far less noxious.

This show has lost its way and there is no returning. The games they play between Julian and Olympia and Mattie and Olympia are so contrived. You never know who is going to out the other. This series should have been called "Clue".  It is too bad because it could have been interesting with the good actors. I only watch if nothing else is on.

@Tinkrbl44  Thanks, I guess he has to do something to try to salvage his career.

@Tinkrbl44  This doesn't surprise me. We have only heard one side of the story. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

@stevieb

Matlock is a legal comedy/drama with an ensemble cast.  It's almost impossible to keep a one-hour show going without lots of secondary characters.

It's also impossible to keep a one-hour show going without characters from every age group.
