MAFS Couples’ Couch 2023

Couples' Couch is back on February 23! Remember this is the show where the successful couples sit on a couch watching the latest episode and commenting on it.

I have always enjoyed this spinoff, especially Anthony's sense of humor while commenting.

BUT. . .

They shouldn't call it COUPLES' Couch any longer. Here are some MAFS SINGLES who will be on:

Lindsey, Ryan (Houston), Gil, Myrla, Clara, and Alyssa (of course)

At least we will still see the "regulars" and a few new additions:

Jamie and Doug, Beth and Jamie, Ashley and Anthony, Shawniece and Jephte, Amani and Woody, and Katina and Olajuwon.

I will miss Jessica and Austin (Washington), Deonna and Greg, and Danielle and Bobby.

Maybe we will see them in the future. IDK how they determine who will be on and who won't.

We will also see "podcasters." Great.

I don't think any of them should expect lots of screen time. Should be interesting.

@beach-mom , thanks for the info. I'm not sure we will watch as I think it should be the ones who are still married.

As for Myrla and Alyssa, I'm not a fan of either. However, Alyssa shouldn't even be there as she checked out the day of the wedding. She's just trying to be relevant; I guess they're paying her lots of $ as no one was a fan of hers.

@HisElk1 - I totally agree with you! I enjoyed the show when it was the married couples.

IDK how they're going to cram all of these people in one show. We know a few of the originals are "keepers." Maybe they're auditioning some of the others?

I'm still convinced Alyssa was hired to bring drama, and I think Chris knew that. I think he went on to find love, but soon realized why she was there. Who knows? She is definitely on their payroll!

I can't believe Myrla and Gil will be on together. I still think he would have been a good host for one of the spinoff shows. But he got in trouble after filming for something. They sure had me fooled!

This isn't a great group IMO. But it may be fun to tune in at least once to see how the singles are going to be. A different take on things rather than the married couples' perspective.

I really don't need to hear Jamie's input anymore about how they don't need to be attracted to each other; she wasn't attracted to Doug and look at them now.

Didn't Ryan and Alyssa date for awhile?

I was thinking the same thing @PhillyGirl23 as I was going to remark, none of them are "couples"

UNTIL @beach-mom Gave a second list of those that did make it & are success stories.

Okay my retort> ALYSSA? Now that is just wrong. Why not Morgan Or Crazy Chris from a couple seasons back?

The podcasters I recognized were Sarah Colonna & Jon Ryan (/punter of Seattle Seahawks in NFL). I wish it was the husband/wife team of Britt(any) & Tim>Til Death Do Us Recap!

Where's Briana or Briana Myles and Vincent? I realize they just had a little girl but she travelled at 8+ still pregnant to the recent show with "where are they now?''

Maybe @Mmsfoxxie knows as she keeps track of them, better than I do.

I almost think we could see "sparks fly" between some of these singles. Unless the format is an hour long they can't hardly squeeze ALL THESE PEOPLE into that format.

We know how some of them like to hear themselves talk. This could be a disaster in the making.

I agree --- better change the name if it's not going to be all couples. I will probably watch if I remember. Some of these people I've already seen enough of! LOL!
