The writer did a great job bringing the story full circle. At first I wondered how I would keep track of all those people, but everything intertwined perfectly.

I agree.  I recorded it back in November and have enjoyed watching it several times.  Hugh Grant is always charming.  I think Emma Thompson's performance was excellent!

I’ve seen this film many times. It is my guilty holiday pleasure. I love it! I think my favorite scene is Colin Firth going to Portugal to propose marriage, but there are so many other heartwarming scenes...the love between a brother and sister, marriage surviving the ultimate threat, the love between a father and son, showing that biology isn’t everything, love that overcomes race and class. I could go on and on but those of you who have seen this film know that. And the rest should watch this film to see what I’m talking about.

This is one of my very favorite movies. Perfection.

I bought this movie after I saw it the first time in a theater. The music is upbeat. The cast is top notch. I'm not a Hugh Grant fan, but I will watch anything that Colin Firth is in. And of course, there's that adorable little red headed boy who is probably in his 30's now. At least one of those actors is no longe with us: R.I.P Alan Rickman.
