They should have stuck him in a state prison, not a federal prison as those guys would "love" him there!

@Justholdingon  It seems any child xxxx is a Federal offence and it is federal prison. One good thing he won’t like are no conjugal visits in federal prison.

She will be 34 next month.

Hopefully not. She will be 46 when he is released. 7 kids is quite enough.

I agree that those convicted of child pornography or molestation should be put in prison and the key tossed away.  They won't change.  I also don't agree with them being housed away from other inmates.  Who protected their innocent victims?

12 years is too short a sentence, IMO.  But at least he didn't get away with it this time.

Just a little slap on the wrist, considering the crimes. A little over 12 years? He'll probably be out in half that time.

@Venezia  His sentence was for possessing and viewing child xxxx. No molestation involved. Mandatory to serve 85 percent of his sentence.

Sentence is far too short!!!!  25 to 30 years would have been better, with absolutely NO chance of parole.  Imo, he belongs in a hole.

If his wife continues to visit him, she's supporting his behavior.  Pray for the children.

Upon his release, he will have twenty years of supervision.

When he's released, he will have to register as a sex offender.

Wondering if a sex offender can live in the same house where the children are home schooled? They may have computers.
