Here's the front cover of Star Magazine.  I still think she's lovely.

Concerning: Heather Locklear is pictured out in Calabasas recently appearing puffy faced as she picked up supplies from a neighbourhood store

She's younger than I am and she looks older than I am.  I was never a fan but I'm not against her.  She had work done and of course that means fillers and doing things here and there.  She's way past playing the young wholesome female.  She looks bloated and maybe she can play a mother in law or older aunt or just the middle aged woman.  I know she never like her backside and would wear padding to give her some oomph.

I was always a fan.  I thought she was adorable back in her day.  No, she's not aging well, but I still like her.  I bet she can clean up nicely though.  She , like many women after 50, start gaining weight around menopause.  I have several friends who gained 10 lbs, and they worked like dogs to get it off and keep it off.

I always liked her on every show she played on!

I dont know what the answer to aging is but some seem to find the right balance or surgeon like Cindy Brinkley or Sharon Osbourne.

It's Christy Brinkley. Years ago, a talk show host had a bunch of models from the 70s and 80s. Cheryl Tiggs was a disaster. I didn't think Christie looked that good then but obviously has work redone.

Sharon has had an amazing about of work done. She doesn't even look like she did when she met Ozzie. But Sharon is doing every interview she can about Ozzie and his Cheating that has been going on for years.

I watched the show and Heather is married to the President who cheats on her with a young intern. Reminders?  Heather sounds the same but oh how she looks so different and not necessarily good.

Remember Susan Blakely?  She was on Rich Man Poor Man. She aged normally, I think. Nick Nolte...OMG!

It was actually TJ Hooker and Dynasty that she was on together. Her hair always looked fried!

Last week, I saw her in a Hallmark movie about a divorced woman meeting a younger guy in Hawaii that is a surf instructor. I thought she looked good.

I honestly thought you ladies were overexaggerating.

So I looked at the show on demand and waited for her to appear (it took awhile) and you are absolutely right. She doesn't even look like Heather Locklear.

After her 2 divorces, she was engaged to Jack Wagner (her co star and love interest on Melrose Place), I guess her behavior, drinking issues and other problems doomed that relationship and they are no longer together.

Heather has a lookalike daughter, Ava except that don't look too much alike anymore.

Dont' know if you are aware but she was married to Tommy Lee before the Baywatch Babe married him. Then she married Richie Sambora and had daughter Ava. At some point, Sambora had a fling with Denise Richards *a friend of Heather's).  Heather also co stared on Spin City with Denise's ex, Charlie Sheen.  At least they keep it all in the family.

So the big question is, are you better to age gracefully and let nature take its course or load up fillers and plastic surgery?

@CalMom

Depends on how much money they have in the bank.  Some can afford to quit; others will need to find another career - in or out of the entertainment business.   Maybe finding a rich husband and retiring is the way to go.

For Heather, I don't know how much money she has. She has lost jobs because of her issues...drinking, pills, attitude. For Heavens Sake, she lost Jack Wagner because of this. Last night, I watched a Hallmark Movie that Jack and Josie Bisset (she was on Melrose, tall with the short blonde hair ) were in. I enjoyed the TV movie.

I finally watched the show yesterday.  I think Heather has definitely had some work done.  Even her mouth seems odd looking and her speech seemed affected by her work.

She has also very obviously put on weight.  The last thing I really remember Heather from was Melrose Place.  She was very thin.  Putting on weight will aslo alter your facial features so besides face work, I think that is another difference.  She also had a boatload of make-up.  It was frightening how much make-up they had on her.  I wonder if they did that to age her?  Her hairstyle was horrible and I noticed when she was sitting in the hallway waiting for her husband, she appeared to be wearing hosiery with her pajamas.

As far as the show, I'm giving it one more episode.  The acting is beyond horrible, especially from Heather.  IT was OMG bad.  She played the witch role so good on Dynasty and Melrose Place but she was just flat and uninteresting in her role as first lady.  The scene between her and Anniebelle in the apartment was laughable.  It was like they were just reading from a script, with no emotion or inflection in their voices at all.

Everything about this was so dark and depressing and stereotypical.  The woman who plays Bonnie was on General Hospital.

As far as the show goes, I'm sticking with it.

I do think the "trailer trash" thing was overdone.

Brody is going to look quite nice when they clean him up...haircut and shave. Hope it's soon.

Oh @Daisy Sunflower, I think he looks quite nice just the way he is.  Love his hair!  Woman Very Happy

@Citrine1, I agree - I'm willing to share if you are (teehee).  Like you said in another post, he's just delicious.

Ummm, not so fast ladies!  LOL

I think he is super hot and if they cut his hair, that would ruin some of the hotness.  Woman Tongue

I was never a fan of Heather Locklear, didn't dislike her, just never watched her. I did see her here and there, and she does look different from what I can tell, but she's aging. I think it's all the trying not to age that's catching up with her.

I could not agree more with the part of your post that I put in bold, and I can't improve on how you described it. The acting really was OMG bad! Like you, I'll give it one more episode. Maybe the pilot was a fluke, if not, I'm done!
