A friend and I went to see Apocalypse Now .....after they chopped a guy's head off we walked out.......Why we even went to a war movie I dont know--- both of us dont care for violent movies....

Yes, 3.   Moonstruck, Murder on the Orient Express and Goodfellows.

I wanted to walk out of West Side Story and The sound of Music but was on dates in high school so I suffered in silence.

Yes I have.  Took the nieces to see Fantasia when they were little.  I'd never seen it.  I thought it was just a cartoon.  Perhaps the kids were too small I don't know.  Kids got scared and we packed up our refreshments and left.

Zardoz - with Sean Connery.

But none quite like the element of surprise

I loved Last Tango especially the music. I walked out on A Little Night Music. I loved the play and music but this starred Elizabeth Taylor singing off key. I don’t really go to the movies much anymore. Rather watch On Demand

The Sailor Who Fell From Grace With the Sea with Kris Krisoffterson, who I love. Kris tried his best but that movie was excruciating and painful to watch, ugh. Dull as dirt.

Yes, The Deer Hunter and Silence of the Lambs.

Makes me shutter just to think of these movies.

@qualitygal

I sure did!
The movie was "Jaws."

Once the first swimmer was attacked by the shark, I quickly got up and walked out, leaving two family members who stayed to watch. 🥺

"The Wild Bunch" was a bit too violent for me.  Nowadays, I might be fine with it, but wasn't used to seeing that kind of stuff at the movies in 1969.
