Granchester

Did anyone else watch the first episode of Granchester on PBS on Sunday night? They will be repeating it several times this week. It was very good and the lead actor is quite handsome! The series is based on the book, "SIDNEY CHAMBERS AND THE SHADOW OF DEATH" by James Runcie, which contains six mystery stories in it. There are two other books out now in the series, with another coming out in May.

dawg lover, I taped it and just watched it last night. I absolutely loved it. Have now set it up as a series recording. You aren't kidding about the lead actor. He is a hunk. Thanks for the information about the book.

I liked the series much more than the book,

BTW I watched the whole thing its very good and there is a 2nd one coming up

I think there will be six episodes this season, that correspond to the six mystery stories in the first book. There are more books in the series, so it could continue for quite a while.
