" Not immoral"
All adultery is immoral
They are legally separated. They are legally able to date, just not marry another person until the divorce is final.

Precisely. So if you're not able to marry cause a divorce isn't final then dating until it is is immoral. It seems some people are trying to justify themselves...
Even if you take morality out it. @ThinkingOutLoud It’s just not a good idea to date someone separated.
My suggestion if you meet someone that says they are separated, tell them to call you when they are divorced.

Who crowned you the arbiter of morality? This is simply your opinion. Morality is different for everyone.
There are people with spouses in nursing homes who suffer from Alzheimer's. Should those people be labeled as immoral if they seek companionship? There are relationships in which one spouse has given permission to the other to seek intimacy elsewhere. Are they also immoral? Don't answer. It's rhetorical and something to think about outside the normal black.and white judgements.

T.J. Holmes is an alleged serial cheater.
.
The “GMA3” host had at least one other alleged affair in addition to his relationships with co-host Amy Robach and producer Natasha Singh, multiple sources tell Page Six.
.
.
Page Six previously reported that TJ Holmes had an alleged affair with producer Natasha Singh for three years.
.
ALSO, Multiple sources tell us that Holmes had a relationship with another staffer while working at the network and married to his wife, Marilee Fiebig.

@Moonladywrote:I predict a few more programming changes to GMA. These two are not divorced people; they're married, and having an affair. (That's what it's called when the parties are photographed "canoodling," then, months later, move out of their respective homes to "go their separate ways" without benefit of divorce.)
Both parties are legally separated from their spouses and divorces are in the works. It is not unethical, illegal or immoral for legally separated people to date and start new relationships. It happens all the time.
**
Oh, yes it is!! and just because "it happens all the time" (as you say) doesn't make it right!!!
WHY would you think people that are legally separated and in the process of divorce cannot date others? There's nothing immoral or wrong about it. What exactly are you basing this on?
**
You could also argue that having a child our of wedlock is "immoral" but times change, and what was verboten in 1955 doesn't get a second glance these days. There was a time when pregnant girls were sent away to the Florence Crittenden Home For Unwed Mothers so the family could avoid any "scandal".
^^
And guess what ... not every gal is a virgin when she marries. Imagine that!
**
Yes, I know we have come a long way since 1955 but I'm not so sure that's a good thing. At least, for some things anyway.

News flash ..... "Dating" isn't immoral. Not everyone who dates is looking to get married. Some might be, but not everyone. For some, being married once was enough.
Hypothetically, if you were married, then separated and they adamantly refused to sign divorce papers, and it's now going on five years and they still won't sign, does that mean you will keep your life on hold indefinitely? Of course not!
(BTW, Roback and Shue had already sold their house and the divorce was almost finalized, even if the public wasn't aware of it.)

Great points to consider. Relationships are complicated, and there are always considerations that outsiders are never aware of. And, even in the best of circumstances, life is messy.

These situations are always sad. I would be surprised if they were still together in a year from now. TJ’s wife looks so open and sweet. I heard that she is a lawyer so she can take care of herself and their little girl, financially, at least. Too bad all the way around.

The two of them are probably lawyering up to sue GMA.
Don't know if they deserve money, but they do deserve each other. If that's what they like.....
I believe it started as an *affair*. So if I see egg on their faces, well, that's up to me.

T.J. Holmes’ affairs with Amy Robach and other colleagues have put him under the microscope at ABC, Page Six is told.
-
Sources say that after the press revealed his relationships with co-anchor Robach, producer Natasha Singh and at least one other staffer, the network’s human resources department is now combing through his past to find out if he dated anyone else below him on the totem pole.
-
“It’s one thing for him to have a relationship with another anchor,” said an insider. “The question is whether he violated company rules by dating less senior employees.”
-
Meanwhile, a network insider said that ABC’s news chief Kim Godwin seemed to hint at a no-stone-unturned approach to the scandal on Monday, saying in the daily 9 a.m. news call, “For now, I am going to take Amy and T.J. off the air, while we figure this out.”
-
Until now, ABC has been largely unscathed by scandals about big-shot anchors luring behind-the-scenes staff.
-
Both rival networks, NBC and CBS, were shellacked during the #MeToo era when titans, such as “Today” host Matt Lauer and “CBS This Morning” host Charlie Rose, were booted for inappropriate behavior with junior staffers.
-
But this is the first time ABC has suffered a similar crisis.

Page Six: T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach put on a united and happy front in their first public sighting since getting suspended from “Good Morning America 3” over their alleged affair.
Even though their professional careers are hanging in the balance while ABC conducts an investigation into the nature of their relationship, the co-anchors appeared carefree and committed to one another while strolling the rainy streets of New York City on Thursday — arm-in-arm.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the two were seen smiling and laughing as they made their way down the sidewalk following a presumed lunch date at Capital Grille. After lunch, the duo strolled back toward Holmes’ Financial District apartment.
__________
On Tuesday, an insider told the Mail that the two “wouldn’t dare be caught together … while ABC is making a decision.”
“Their marriages are over, but they have children to think about, and they don't want to jeopardize their futures with the network any more than they already have,” the informant said.
