Sonny arrested by the po po. You knew that was coming! Cyrus is probably gonna refuse to testify. Or take over PC for himself and here comes Jason to stop that!   Agree that Cy will refuse to testify; I think to curry favor with Laura.  I was wrong in that I didn't think Cy would tell who did the beating. What we, the viewers, are being led to believe is ALL that means everything to Cy-boy is to be accepted and loved as a family member. We'll see on that one.

I almost couldn't with that opening today. I am not sure I have enough tissues. I have the special taped and I am waiting for a time when I can have a good cry and not be bothered. It's nice to see GH really honor a vet and look back. But, I can't be this old. I'm enjoying the lookbacks/memories as they pay a heartfelt and much deserved tribute to Bobbie/JZ.  Yes, I AM this old.  LOL

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I am exhausted from the great shows this week. Keep it up, G

One addition about today's show:  Lois...back it off, hon.  Just give everyone a chance to breathe. Dial it down a notch or 40.

And yet another good show Friday. A wow week. Must see TV!

@Laura14 I agree it's going to be very hard next week I think, but hopefully they will have many wonderful flashbacks worth our tears. I think the actors' tears we are seeing are very real indeed. JZ was very loved, I've never heard a bad word about her. I too am that old. ā¤ļø

@Laura14 , @mysoutherncomfort and @grandma r I agree about Cyrus. He SO wants a family to love him. When he came to PC, the only thing he cared about was seeing his mother. I wonder if he's seen "ole Mom" lately? Has Martin? Is she still uh, around, I wonder. Anyway, Cyrus certainly seems obsessed with Laura. I also agree that Cyrus will refuse to press charges on Sonny.

@grandma r Laura Wright has gorgeous hair but you know, in the flashback with Sonny, I absolutely loved her shorter, choppy do. Beautiful!  I just love her. As @KBEANS said she has gained a little but she dresses well for it, I think. They should do better for Kristen Storms.

I agree with all who are excited about Jason's return, just to shake things up. Sorry Drew, too bad for you. And maybe Dex too as @mysoutherncomfort said.

I am not interested in Jason and Carly (or Jason and Sam) being a couple. Oh how I wish Britt was still around. Wonderful chemistry!

I don't want to say too much else about the 60 Year special since @Laura14 and maybe others haven't seen it yet.

I will say that I enjoyed it very much for what it was, but I agree with everyone on here who said that an hour wasn't long enough.

There is just too much material in 60 years for a measly hour to do it justice, so I will defer on too many comments. But I do have thoughts.

IMO two hours of the GH special and one hour of that doofy bachelor wedding would have been a much better programming ratio to me. Or ABC could have at least split the difference at 90 minutes for each program. I would not have minded lol.

I confess I only watched the last ten minutes of the Golden Bachelor wedding show in order to see the bride's dress. I also didn't want to miss a second of the GH special and tuned in early. I do think the new bride is a pretty woman at 70, and seems nice but I am just not a fan of the "Golden One", lol, or the show premise in general. But that's for a different thread, I reckon, lol. It just seemed like a commercial for the next season to me.

Anyway, I generally agree with everyone's comments on the GH special and will leave it at that. I am very interested in the opinions of @Laura14 and others who haven't commented yet.

Happy and safe weekend everyone! ā¤ļø

@BeckiWV Please feel free to comment on anything! It was a crazy busy week at work and I had my car battery die in the middle of it so I've been more upside down than I usually am and not as on top of my viewing as I normally would be.

I kept the "spoilers included" thread title so that anyone, including myself, knows we may be talking about shows or scenes some of us haven't seen yet.

Thank you though for the courtesy! Heart

I could be wrong but I noticed when Dante arrested Sonny that his eyes looked confused. I don't think he remembers that he brutally beat Cyrus. Anyone notice that?

I wouldn't mind seeing Jason get back with Elizabeth.   Get rid of Finn....there is no chemistry or sex appeal there

Oh, so something I forgot, I may have lost the who killed Austin bet. Does anyone still care? šŸ˜‚

Nik said it wasn't him which puts me down the tubes if we believe him. The jury is out for me.

If Nik wasn't the one, Cyrus is too obvious, I might go with Portia looking to blow off some steam and making sure she got chief of staff.

Or I still think Adam might have had a moment and killed his tutor trying to get his A in anatomy. The B made him snap. And here we are in drug and alcohol city.

I watched yesterday's episode this morning, and I thought the same thing. In fact, she is starting to really annoy me. I said to myself, "Lois, it's time to return to Benson Hurst.

Re: General Hospital šŸ„ January 2024 - Spoilers Included

As I have said, I am not happy to see the return of Steve Burton. I've had my fill of his repeated comings and goings on this Soap, and it was his own fault he had to leave this last time. I have never liked his cyborg character, nor his Sonny henchman role.

Nina is and has always been her own worst enemy, so if she is shunned by eveyone, it's her own fault. However, losing Sonny, is probably the best thing that could happen to her. He's no prize. He will probably go back to Carly once again. I think the two of them deserve each other. Nina should go back to Val.

I was shaking my head at Carly's take down of Nina, accusing her of being selfish and not caring whom she hurt. I thought back to why Carly came to town in the beginning, what she planned for her mother, what she did to Tony, how she tricked him into thinking her baby was his, then later passed the baby off as Jason's when it was really AJ's, unbeknownst to AJ. What she had Sonny do to AJ, which eventually ended with Sonny murdering AJ due to his feelings about him.  All the fallout that came from Carly for which she has apparently been forgiven, and yet Nina is the monster? Did she think of any of that when she was torching Nina?

I'll admit. I have NEVER liked the Carly character in all of its many renditions by various actresses. She always gets a pass while others don't. I will say though, that Laura Wright has done a great job with the loss of her mother Bobby. I couln't help but think those tears were not acting. They were real because she has worked with Jackie Zeman for so long. Cast members who have been there and know Jackie Zeman must all be very emotional about this loss.

I don't think Nik killed Austin. He was found in Pautuck (spelling?). And I forget, was Mason also murdered? I can't help but think it was Cyrus in connection with whoever else is the big cheese in the operation. Wouldn't it be hilarious if it was Cyrus' mother who is running the operation. I know she is unwell, but I just had this crazy thought, kind of like Ma Barker and her gang in the wild west. Nevermind.
