Only Murders In The Building on ABC

I don't subscribe to Hulu, so I am only watching on ABC to have something new to watch while I exercise, since so many of my regular shows are still not running, and Magnum PI got cancelled. However, this past week's ice and snow storms kept my satellite from getting the last five minutes or so of episode 9 of the show. Would any of you who are regular viewers care to share spoilers, or do I need to see the end of episode 9 in order to understand episode 10? I am finding I enjoy the show more than I expected to, so I'm debating adding Hulu to my Disney bundle, but really, spending more money every month is not high on my "to do" list!

I noticed it on ABC too but it was already on S1 Episode 5. Husband tried finding it on on demand but was not available. I wanted to watch it when it came out on HULU but don't have HULU.

Even though Jan asked Charles not to attend her recital he did attend & found out that she was not playing first chair afterall. Also, Mabel & Oliver are going through a box of items Tim Kono had thinking they were sex toys but come to find out they were to do with cleaning musical instruments.

I have a feeling we will only see season 1 on ABC. Have to have Hulu to watch Season 2 and 3.

I hope not but I know that is a possibility. I did miss some of the episodes last week but what I have seen I am really enjoying.

I've been watching it too, but also will not buy Hulu to continue watching it. I usually watch the FBI series on Tuesdays unless they are moving them to a new night.

We had ice instead of snow, so the local ABC affiliate broke into programming at 9:00 pm which just happened to be mid-sentence for Mabel. Didn't they look at their own schedule to know that the show doesn't end on the hour/half-hour?

Mabel & Oliver spoke with Tim Kono's next door neighbor, and she said Tim had been seeing someone although she never saw her, only heard her. The first chair bassoonist was brought in at the beginning of the concert, including adding a chair for her, so it wasn't obvious until that point that Charles' girlfriend would not be the first chair.

I signed up for Hulu and Disney+ in 2022 during a Black Friday promotion ($4.98 a month for a year for the combo).

I should've canceled at least a month (30 days) before last year's Black Friday event. I would've been able to sign up again just for Hulu for 99¢ a month for a year! But I missed the cut-off date and the offer was for new subscribers or those who hadn't been subscribers for at least 30 days.

I'll probably wait until this year's Black Friday deals, but we loved "Only Murders" and binge watched all three seasons while we had Hulu. There's a new series coming out this year they said.

@colleenaThank you so much for the spoiler, I caught the start of what you discussed, but didn't see the last part, I suspect that will be important. I admit, I've wondered about that bassoonist.....

I did see the discussion about the "toys", the fact that they are for cleaning musical instruments really implicates the bassoonist. That and the neighbor saying she'd "never heard a woman scream like that" makes me think it wasn't a woman but a musical instruments. Now I wonder, did a different female bassoonist "dethrone" the older one as first chair, a younger one, and she was Kono's girlfriend? Or was Tim Kono the first chair, and Charles' s girlfriend was so jealous she murdered Tim? Since the deli owner and his deaf son turned out to be involved in the past murder, but not Tim Kono's, maybe the motive in this newest murder is not related at all to the earlier one?
