Congrats to Christian and Jess.

A tie for the first time.  I love Christian and definitely will watch his show.  As for Jess, I'll see what it's all about.  I feel bad for Manny, but I didn't think his pilot was that strong enough.  I really did love his personality though.

The outtakes and bloopers were hysterical and I was laughing until I was crying.

Has anyone read any of the comments on the Food Network Gossip page on Facebook?  There were more than 297 comments and even though I didn't read all of them of course, all wanted Manny. 

I found it interesting that at the end of the show they didn't say when the shows would premiere. They use to do that.  At first I thought when they both won that one would have a show on Food Network.com.

I think last one was Tregaye and she was a co-host.  If I'm not mistaken, the show didn't last very long.

Then what's the point of making pilots?

I think Tregaye was on The Kitchen Sink or something like that and it didn't last that long.

The winners all seem to end up hosting some type of cooking competition show.

It was cute the way they did that.   

I actually didn't watch the whole ep, and skipped to the end.

I think the reason we haven't seen much of some of the winners is because they ended up making bad choices for the win.  I vaguely remember that uber-creepy, gross, cowboy dude who ended up having some pretty bad stuff in his recent past (or was it not the past? - can't remember), that one more recent guy who was so skeevy I couldn't even watch him, and the young lady named Tregaye (too obnoxious for me).

Some of the better ones, if they don't get a FN show, end up on The Cooking Channel with a show, so it has worked out well for them.
