Watched an FBI today where she was about 10-12 years old. I got so sad i couldn't watch all of it. What a tragic life.

Just googled her. She died of throat cancer. She was 56. I had thought she OD'ed. Still a sad life.

This is heartbreaking!💔💔 I have read stories and seen different TV programming that chronicled her lfe through the years! Like many child actors of that time, they suffered different forms of abuse because they did not have the same protections young actors do today!!😔 It is SO sad to know how tragic and desperate her life had become; especially the years LONG drug abuse and homelessness! It just tugs at your heartstrings!❤

I will always LOVE💝 and remember her as the adorable Joanie Cunningham!!😁

So sad, wasn't it? She was so darling and cute on Happy Days! Her later years were terrible.

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Erin Morin back around 2014 or so. As a kid, I enjoyed all those wonderful TV shows so imagine my excitement when I attended a Hollywood autograph event and saw Erin, Don Most, and Anson Williams sitting at a table right next to Three's Company castmembers Joyce DeWitt and Priscilla Barnes!! Erin was so excited that I was so excited to meet her!!! She was so happy that I was thrilled to meet her!! She literally took my arm and dragged me to the next table to introduce me to Joyce! The two ladies were so so so so sweet, so friendly, it was magical meeting everyone that day. I will never, ever forget how upbeat and adorable Erin (and the others) were. I'm so glad to have that memory and was beyond saddened, obviously, when she passed away.

Thank you for that remembrance @BarbiHollywood. Her life seemed so sad, but obviously she had 'happy days' too.

@AuntG I LOVE HOW YOU PHRASED THAT!!!! I feel blessed that my one and only time meeting her was soooo sweet. I will try to post picture. Be on the lookout!
