Episode 3 is now on Paramount +

I tried to watch and less than 10 minutes later, no can do.   Can't watch animals getting shot.

Good luck to all who continue to watch.

Another reason too I'm having difficulty watching is because I love cows. Their faces are so cute and it pains me that they get slaughtered for meat and yes I ate steaks a couple times a month when my husband was alive but not anymore.  Can't do it.

But I don't begrudge anyone who enjoys eating beef.

I just can't.

If you are a rancher raising cattle and the herd starts coming down with hoof and mouth disease, you have no choice but to put them down. You can't allow all the cattle to become ill and loose your livelihood. He didn't do it out of cruelty but necessity. They never actually showed him shooting , you just saw the rifle. No one likes to see animals hurt.

I think this is a good series. I have always liked Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly.

@elated  I appreciate your comments.  Regrettably I just don't  have the stomach for the storyline so I guess I should  just stay away from this show.

Re: Dutton Ranch

Watched one episode last night that I had recorded on my regular channels and decided to get Paramount Plus to continue to watch and watched episode two.  I thought so far so good but if it gets crazy I will drop.  I only want to watch so much violence on a show and hear swear words. Gets old.

Seems to be lots of shows I want to watch and when summer comes other channels have zip on.  So far I like it and will continue.  I have watched Marshals but not too impressed. Lost my interest already.

@daisy4 @I feel it's because the body was on his property and didn't want it to be found there and think he did it .
