I'm a huge fan of Yellowstone and watch the reruns, so Dutton Ranch is on my watch list as well.  Saw the first two episodes and enjoyed them.  Some bittersweet moments along with getting familiar with the new characters.  I get that Beulah (love the name they chose for her character) will be a definite thorn in Beth's side. It'll be a, who can outsmart who, challenge between them.

Thanks, will it be all the episodes on Paramount or just the first few @daisy4 I had downgraded my cable package so I don't get Paramount right now but might be worth upgrading again.

As far as I know it will be all the episodes.  There are only going to be 9 all together.  I just checked and the first 2 episodes are on the "on demand" channel on my cable.  (Optimum).

Episode 1 started out with a fire and I lost it hearing those defenseless animals running for their lives and seeing everything burned  to  the ground. Wasn't expecting that at all that this was  how the series would start. Then their adopted son Carter is introduced to Beaulah's slutty grand daughter.  He likes her but then she says, I have a boyfriend yet we know that their relationship is not done.  Story line so predictable since Beth can't stand Beaulah.

Here's what else I think about Dutton Ranch.  The slutty and rebellious granddaughter of Beaulah is the embodiment of a young Beth.  Carter will be the mirror image of a young Rip along with the trials and tribulations he went through before finally "getting the girl."

Why? Because this is the formula that worked when Yellowstone was written.

hope they tone it down. Beth , rip, and their boy seems ok right now but all the rest of the cast is grossly violent, cussing the F bomb constantly and just plain harsh.

I agree completely!  Honestly I was really looking forward to seeing this series, but now I'm not sure I want to continue watching.  When I was watching I kept thinking these people are too mean and nasty.  I'll give it a little more time hoping it gets better.

This show is hugely disappointing.

Beth brings her scarred up face to this new spin off and it happened while making Yellowstone and according to the legalities of it....never the twain shall meet yet here she is with the same scars.  Seems she should  have seen a plastic surgeon to smooth them out for the new spin off.  hahahha...just sayin.  I  think  Dutton Ranch is going to go bye bye in the not too  distant future.

  • I watched the first two episodes on Paramount yesterday. Yes, they have foul language but that was to be expected. I thought it was interesting and will continue to watch. I like Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly.
