Well, I've forgiven her for replacing Hot Bench at 2 pm, lol.  I haven't seen her actual show, just the promos for it.  Too many hand and body movements which would distract me from whatever she's talking about.  So I don't plan on watching it.

But I like Drew Barrymore and I hope she succeeds.

If you'd like to see a very nice looking veterinarian, Google Dr. Evan Antin.

He was a guest on Drew's show today.

He wrote a new book which will be out in October.

I didn't 'catch' the entire name of his new book.  'World Wild (something?)'.

Anyway, try to find this segment on today's show.  Very interesting guest.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Tuned in today, four minutes late.

Seems as though she's calmed down a bit.

Talking about astrology on Drew's News.

Full Harvest Moon tonight.  Thursday night.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Drew's early ratings are good, but not spectacular.

She appears,  in large markets,  to do better than the shows she replaced and does better than her lead in show.  Could be curious viewers, so we'll see.

But Tamron Hall is kicking it big time.  Surpassing all competition nationwide.

I don't really watch talk shows much, and no celebrity talk shows.  I would, if the celeb were one that I really liked.  They'd have to be sort of quirky, and intellectually curious etc., to make me interested enough to watch...

A few years ago, of all people, William Shatner had an unconventional talk show, and that one, I tried to catch!  He genuinely IS quirky, and sometimes unexpected, and his chats with certain people went deep...

For the reasons above, I sometimes watch part of Greg Gutfeld's late night talk show-- he really is quick-witted and a character, and so are his regulars Kat Timpf (sp?) and Tyrus.  But even that I can't watch for too long.

Let's see--  if Martin Short had a talk show, I'd watch all day long!  I can never get enough of his nuttiness, and even though he thinks very differently than I do, he's always amusing...

I was part of her virtual audience the 2nd week of the show-   you could feel the expected growing pains of a new show, coupled with it being a pandemic. Drew is all  about positivity- her  self depricating sense of humor is fun too. There's a place for her, the show needs to grow  & find it's niche!

Her show was renewed and she won an Emmy.  So one never knows, does one?

Poor Kelly Clarkson is having a rough year.  First the divorce now her ex FIL's management company is suing her for not paying commissions owed.

@Wsmom I have a feeling Kelly's divorce isn't going to go smoothly. She can start quoting one of her songs.... 'what doesn''t kill you makes you stronger!'

I've always enjoyed Drew's personality and positive energy. I've seen the commercials for her show but it didn't entice me to want to watch. It seemed too high energy for me (but I can ntrubute that to working from home and being in a high risk state and am pretty much at home all the time; I'm probably gravitating toward subdued lately).
