Does anyone watch Mountain Men?

My DH loves this show, so I'm stuck watching it. Except for the trapper guy Tom(the one who is married and has a beautiful german shorthair pointer) - they all seem a bit off in the head to me. Esp Marty. And now he has managed somehow to snare himself a girlfriend.(color me amazed at that).

Marty is married and has a young daughter. I watch and not always because I want to. Did you see last night Eustaces friend Preston died? Sad 😥

My husband loves this show too. It's ok but I don't like looking at the dead animals.

I have seen this show, but do not watch it all the time! Am sorry to hear about Preston...did not see that episode!  I liked Eustace and Preston....seem to be such nice, down home people...worked  so well together!

It only mentioned it at the end before the credits. My husband looked it up and he had cancer. He was a retired school teacher. Who'd have thought that. I complain about watching but I kinda have become attached to the people. Preston just seemed like a great guy and they were such good friends. I feel bad for Eustace losing what appeared to be his best buddy.

Re: Does anyone watch Mountain Men?

I thught you might mean Morgan. As far as I've seen the girl isn't his gf. They are not affectionate at all. When he or she leaves they never kiss only hug. I think they're just friends.I know that sounds weird but that's how it appears. At first I thought the same as you they were together.

Apparently Preston just passed Monday 😥 I'm sure they'll talk about it in an episode.

Re: Does anyone watch Mountain Men?

Wow ! didn't know that either. They all look healthy as a horse. Maybe that's why Eustace bought on that new young boy helper.

My favorite is that poor old man and woman. Living up there like they do , from hand to mouth, both old. Got kids who tried to get them to move to Fl.

That last about a day. I'd be bored stiff after one day.

Why they want to live so hard is beyond me. If I live that long I don't want to have to kill to eat, etc.

I feel sorry for that woman and little girl that belong to the guy who flys that little yellow plane in and out. That poor little girl has no one to play with. What do they do all day besides work ? Sad.

Re: Does anyone watch Mountain Men?

Mines loves this one and anything remotely connected to Alaska.  I put up with it because I get to choose the rest of the viewing agenda.  These shows are all he cares about, even when some of the plot lines are pretty unbelievable and obviously contrived for TV.
