I really love the version of Little Women with Susan Sarandon as Marmee and Winona Ryder as Jo. It was excellent and I loved the scenery.

A movie I believe was titled "Marvin's Room" was wonderful. Starred Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton as sisters who were total opposites trying to care for their dying father, played by Hume Cronin. Wonderful!

Mermaids was just on tv last week. I sat and watched a bit of it.
And if anyone here loves a tear jerker, Boys on the Side is the reason I refuse to do chick flicks anymore. Excellent film but have a big tissue box ready.
Not sure if anyone mentioned Fried Green Tomatoes but that was another good one.
