They do tape six months ahead and this plot with Sonny has nothing to do with what happened in real life in December. He was there in Ohio for Christmas break. If he was out of the hospital and back in L.A. before the break was over they don't have to do anything. (I seem to remember he stayed in Ohio till his girlfriend was discharged?) If he was not able to report back to work and he was in scenes in May/June they would have had to write him out.

Remember the DAYS when they would say, "The part of Sonny Kiriakis will be played today by..."? They could never get away with that now LOL.

I did watch Friday. I wasn't pleased. Brady and Melanie. Who was it who gave her the nickname of Choppers? someone here or on DR? I can't stand her baby talk. Grow up! Brady deserves a woman.

In other news, James Scott did not get a Lead Actor Emmy pre-nom but Daniel Cosgrove, who plays Aiden, did.

Then again Daniel Cosgrove did not book a night-time show and James Scott did, heh heh.

Really, it's all silly this year. Ari Zucker didn't get a Lead Actress but Peggy McCay did. HUH?

And All Sweeney did. No doubt for scenes with James Scott. Life isn't fair.

You know who else got one? The actress who plays Paige, for Best Younger Actress. Well, that's three hours of my life returned to me because I will not be watching.

I guess we're lifers and don't know it. I don't know why I watch. I mean I really don't. Something's wrong with me.

I do remember the days when they'd say ,'today, the part of Joe Doakes is being played by...' When you think about it, don't these people ever get sick?

I don't see anything praiseworthy in Aiden's acting. Sami did have some good scenes even before ej died. But Paige, ohhhh, nooooo, that only means she'll be on more and they'll never get rid of her so neither will we. I thought both little Chase kids were good little actors. But Parker was the worst I've ever seen. Then there's Ciara. The kid has come a long way but I just don't care for her. Arianna is great. Never says a word. Caroline, hmmmm......yep, she's good, but she's always been good, so nothing earth shattering there. She doesn't miss a beat. Maybe give Roman an award for most no shows? See? I don't know why I watch. I really don't.

Well, she was PRE-nominated.

I just noticed Paige and Ciara are in the same category as Gabi. I hope Camila wins but it's sort of ridiculous for them to be in the same category.

Slim pickings if these two are the ones getting the nod. Truthfully, no one apart from Alison had a great year and a rich story on Days in 2014. Even the actress who plays Kristen had little do other than pace in her hotel suite slinging threats. I hope the actress who plays Teresa gets a good story this year.

Kristen and Paul should get together. Both are hotel room pacers to the nth degree.

She could pace east, he could pace west. Nah, I wouldn't do that to Kristen.

Freddie Smith's accident happened in Ohio in October, that was when his girlfriend was hospitalized. He went back to Ohio in Dec to stand trial for the accident he caused, there were drugs and alcohol involved.
