Mama, I can't even explain this coherently because I don't totally understand how it works, but the prenoms were instituted to make it fairer. With fewer shows on the air and Y&R completely dominating the ratings they would get all the noms and votes so this was done to spread it around.

BTW the actors submit themselves. Last year Peggy McCay was criticized for submitting in the Lead Actress category but at least she had the Alzheimer's storyline. This year it's a joke.

I watched half the show yesterday (I started watching Y&R on DAYS when Justin Hartley is on, and it's engaged me so much I have been watching every day now; it's superior in every way to DAYS).

All I can say about the half I saw is Theresa's shirt or dress was gorgeous and her hair looks lovely. Got nothing else. The actress who plays Eve still looks transgender to me although I know she's not.

thank you Lori, there was "something" about Eve that I just felt yucky about every time I saw her, and you just said it...she DOES look so transgender to me too....she reminds me of a male every time I see her.....and she and stupid, stupid JJ really deserve each other

I can't wait for Paige to walk in on them tomorrow....(or Thursday, Friday) but you know it's going to happen!

Finally Clyde is found and in the Chapel no less, do you think Clyde also killed Victors "guy" the guy that sent him the message to meet in the Chapel!!

I REALLY have to ask everyone.....what is it with Hope wearing a stripe top and polka dot pants?????? Is this some new fad and it's suppose to look good? I wouldn't wear that outfit to bed as pajamas! Hope's is a very stupid cop, you KNOW he will come down the stairs any minute, he's looking for a sheet, should take him a 1/2 minute, they must have a linen closet in that expensive cabin...... Hope you need to go back to the police academy.....you are so out of it.....

Yay! Great news! The writers have been fired! New writers brought in (well, one is an old one but that's common).

YAYYYYYYYYYY!

Expect shake-ups in the cast and hopefully they're the ones we want. Because that is hopefully why the others were fired, heh heh.

Wow, that's big news! I hope they pare down the cast in a major way; show the door to Eve, Paige, Clyde, Jordan, Ben, etc.

I think Nicole looks like a man. Everything on her is big. Big bones, especially. I've thought it for quite a while and I know it is absolutely not true. It's just how she looks to me.

Didn't Eve's haircut go out with the Partridge Family? I'm sure it did. Or maybe she reminds me of Marcia on Brady Bunch. Whoever. If the shoe fits.

If Aiden doesn't lose those covert glances and that long face, I'd just as soon he went along with Clyde's pack. I mean Aiden's the best looking guy on the show and I would love for Hope and him to get together for good, but till everything's out in the open, I just can't watch another DAY of him.

Being that I watch the show after I get home from work, I have a friend who is supposed to forewarn me of any J.J./Eve make out scenes in advance so I can avoid seeing them together. Well, today she forgot and I almost spit up my Pepsi.
