Anyone here ever wonder why some somewhat 'intelligent' murderers have the idea of burying their victims in their own back yard?

I guess they hadn't even thought about anyone checking up on them and their property after the children were missing......?

'One track minds', I guess.

'Still'........'I just don't get it'.

He and his wife and BIL sure have a lot of gaul / nerve / etc.

@ROMARY, I do wonder about it. Maybe those people feel safer being in their own space. Better to be laying a concrete slab in your own kitchen, or digging in your own back yard?

But no matter where a body is disposed of or buried, no matter how obscure or remote the place and regardless of how clever the perpetrator is, sometimes bodies will cry out to be found, and found they'll be.

Nature often assists, as creeks & ponds will rise or fall, thereby exposing evidence, or desert sands will shift revealing the same.

Roads are built, vacant lots go under construction.

Tick, tick, tick.

If it were me, I couldn't stand the pressure! Like in E.A. Poe's 'The Telltale Heart'.

The plan was for the newlyweds to put a mobile home in the backyard..
