Bull was one of my  favorite shows too.   I loved Michael Weatherly on NCIS and also as Bull.

in this final season I also came to really enjoy the character of Chunk.  I hope to see the cast in other shows soon.

@KK06- I liked the ending.  What was Bull leaving his glasses on his desk about before leaving his office?  If you need to wear glasses, you will still need them for whatever the future holds.  Didn't quite get the symbolism.  Any thought?

@WORKING GAL   I wondered too.  He also left the framed photo of his baby on his desk, right next to his glasses.  When you leave a job never to return, you take your most personal possessions with you. You'd never leave family photos.

In an earlier episode a reporter told/said that the glasses were a prop. Or he might have had many pair of glasses.

I STILL MISS BENNY!!!!

I have wondered what the symbolism of leaving those glasses behind meant.  I have two thoughts; Bull was upset that he was fooled by the defendant and didn't see him for the serial killer he actually was, or Michael Weatherly was indeed glad to be leaving the character behind and walking away from the show.    It had been a series with its share of real life drama.  JMO

It made no sense that Bull would not take his daughter's picture with him.

I thought it was a great finale and will miss the show.

I watched the first couple seasons and that was it for me.   I must be the only person that didn't think Benny contributed much to the show, and always wondered why he was selected in the first place!

So .... the show is now history .... the only question that remains is whether or not we'll ever see Special Agent Tony DiNozzo again ......

I will miss the show but did not like the finale. Certainly they could have figured a better way to end without disgracing Bull the way it did.

My thought on the ending is that it leaves Bull an opportunity to come back......possibly to another network/cable channel. Perhaps he and Marissa figured out a way that he goes away now so their client goes to jail, and his way of indicating he is coming back is to leave the photo. If they moved TAC to another state, he could possibly continue in the same profession or some ancillary business.

I always thought the glasses were a prop anyway. Something he didn't really need, but it made him look more intellectual perhaps, or showed him as a serious-looking person for the jury. Don't know....just that I never thought he needed them for seeing purposes.

Hopefully, the director/producer will enlighten us sometime.

Re: Bull's series finale

[ Edited ]

Then, all that’s left for Bull to do is say goodbye to TAC, and after he leaves his glasses on his desk, he does just that, walking out of the building and past the courthouse, and he keeps going.

I copied this from an official online summary of the finale.
