Watched the movie a couple of nights ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.  It's been ages since I last watched this movie.

My surprise was seeing a very young Robert Duvall in a small role, but absolutely did not remember Jacqueline Bisset was also in the movie.  What a gorgeous woman!

I like this film because of the San Francisco setting.  I am wondering how much it would cost now to rent that nice apartment Steve McQueen's character lived in while in the movie.

That car was auctioned off-they got millions for it.

Gosh, I've seen this movie a few dozen times now.  Watch it whenever I see its on or even On Demand.  It took me a few times to figure out that those were two different actors who looked so much alike - the one who in the beginning gets shot up, and why did he unlock the door(?) and then the other one who got caught on the plane and chased down and shot up at the airport.

I find the scene at Jacqueline Bisset's workplace and the scene in which they go to a jazzy club with friends with that hip music playing in the background a nice change of pace in this movie, sort of out of place, but enjoyable none the less.

In the chase scene, you see the same Volkswagen Beetle Bug popping up all the time.  One or two other cars are seen over n over too so to me this is kind of a blooper within the movie.  That Beetle Bug makes quite a few appearances during the chase.  Steve McQueen is a very intense actor, he doesn't even have to speak, something just draws you in to him.

I remember the theater smelling of vomit upon entering, all the ups and downs of the hills, lol.

This movie is the granddaddy of car chase films.
