Advise and Consent.  She played the Senator from Kansas.

Maybe it's much to early in the game,ah but I thought I'd ask you just the same

She was also on The Carol Burnette Show in the Mama's Family segments.  She was Eunice's sister, Ellen and of course Mama, played by Vicki Lawrence.  Those segments were the funniest part of the show to me.  This was in 1983-1984 andd 1986-1990.

I loved her in the movie, Lake Placid. A totally un-Betty White character.
