Starts off with "Dark Victory" at 2:00 p.m. Eastern, followed by "Now Voyager" at 4:00 p.m., and then, her brilliant turn in "The Letter", at 6:15 p.m.
They follow all that up with Stanwyck in "Double Indemnity" at 8:00 p.m. Eastern! Whew.

It is a great line up. Bette Davis is amazing, the first scene in the letter is amazing everytime I see it. The ending scene is amazing. She does a lot of acting with her eyes. Now Voyager is going to be on too. Double Indemnity is good too. Great line up.

This outfit worn by Bette in Dark Victory was on display in a traveling Warners costume exhibit. The cape is from Now, Voyager.
Who would have thought that they were this colorful!

Today, April 5 was her birthday. I suspect that TCM picked 3 of her powerful movies to celebrate her belated birthday. And what a good way to celebrate.

Dark Victory is 1 of 2 movies w/Bette Davis that I do not like. The other is a comedy, the name of the movie escapes me.
Will be setting up 3 popcorn snacks for Now Voyager, The Letter & Double Indemnity.

@Commoner Exec Mr Wilkes The red bolded if thats the movie BD boss gets a broken leg or ankle from falling.
I never watched the 1st 3 because they were comedies. Not a BD comedic fan.
