So far I've been a bit disappointed. There have been a few laughs but just a few. I don't know, I LOVE and miss the old Muppet Show with the skits and singing with the guests. I think a half hour isn't long enough to fit all that in. Not sure if I will continue watching it or not.

Love it! Very clever.

HappyDaze, I'm with you. Like the original Muppets better. Won't waste the time watching the new show.

I think it's very much a Muppet Show for the times.
I like it, but I don't LOVE it. I'm glad that Kermit and Miss Piggy are maybe (finally?) over for good, because I've hated them together since The Muppet Movie. I hated it when PR junkets and stories made a big deal out of their relationship. Yes, let's talk about the amazing love story of a jealous woman pressuring her boyfriend into marriage and the disinterested boyfriend who can't commit but won't leave. Not really my idea of a love story.

I only watched the first episode and that was enough for me. This is just me but there are some things I want kept in my childhood as the pure entertainment they were. I'm not a fan of the new adult version. It just wasn't what I was expecting. I don't consider myself to be uptight but I had a real problem 30 seconds in with one of the first jokes that was just vulgar to me and completely unnecessary. There's a way to be adult without being crude for effect. It just wasn't my thing.

@ChynnaBlue what I don't like at all about the new one is that muppets and humans are having "intimate" relationships- like Fozzy bear and that one girl. I just think that is so silly. Why do we need to go there? It is actually kind of odd, imo.

I agree, @HappyDaze. I'm on a Nielson Media Research panel and respond to surveys about the new shows throughout the year. I called that out in one of my responses. I don't ever, EVER want to think about Muppets dating humans. I hope they don't do that again.

I've watched it a couple times. It's cute. I think it's mainly because I remember these characters from my youth. It's a nice change from most things on tv now so I hope it sticks around.

Do not understand the attraction....why would an adult watch puppets?
well, with that logic, why would adults watch anything that provides them entertainment?
