      I have also watched this show since the beginning.  And I was also slightly disappointed in these last four episodes.  There just seemed to be something a bit off in the four episodes.   

     I was glad to see the happy ending though...

     I did not like their last Christmas special. That show was poorly put together and seemed mediocre compared to prior seasons.

I thought we watched it in it's entirety months ago.  

So....4 more episodes have come out since early summer?

Geez, I've watched so many series, I can't remember the names of people like you guys can!

Just wondering if there's more (new) for me to watch.

@Lucky Charm Yes go to PBS and you should be able to see them.  I'm not sure how long they stay up but they came out only a few weeks ago.

I was so disappointed that it was only 4 shows. I hope it does come back. We live British shows. I pay for Britbox to get all the great shows.

I think that last episode was billed as the Series Finale, not a season finale.

I think this series took the longest in-between seasons to return.

We marathon watched the 1st 3 seasons and then caught up on Demand for the rest.  We had not watched it when it first aired.

I agree about British shows-I think the actors are always much more polished than the ones we have here and they always seemed to be trained at higher levels.

Plus they use "real" looking people; people you would see in everyday life.

So many good shows; enjoy them all!

OMGosh............Escape to the Country is so informative and interesting.  

I previously didn't know about the beautiful green agriculture areas of England.   My gosh, so many interesting agriculture and other private industries over there.  

They seem to be (to me) very self-sufficient.  

Anyway, also love 'A Place to Call Home' series.  I believe I watched the last one this season last night.

Also like Inspector Morse, Midsomer Murders, and others.

I hadn't watched much PBS until a couple of years or so ago.  

Excellent place to watch excellent TV.  

We are indeed very lucky to have programs from UK and other wonderful PBS series/programs.
