We watched the first episode and it was sickening.  A few more minutes for the second one and decided to give up.

Kathy Bates is my all time favorite actress so I am dissappointed.  Guess I'll have to enjoy her in something else.

Boundries were pushed in other seasons but this is too much.

The same thing happened with "The Walking Dead."

If you watched the very first episode, it is probably the most weird of all episodes of this AH - Hotel. I did watch this entire series of this one but only during the day. Can't watch anything of the like at night just before bedtime, knowing me I'd be dreaming about this.

I will say this one and the one all done with carny folks are the most disturbing of all these series.

I have enjoyed watching all of the AH series. Next one, "Cult", looks terrifying, too. My favorite one so far is the first season, "Murder House".

Murder House and Coven are the only two I watched to completion. The others just fell apart for me. Cult sounds really good and,as always,I will give it a look.

@birkin baby  These are the first 2 I never did watch. I think I picked up w/S3 which was the carnivale one - cannot think of the title (hate when this happens!).

@SilleeMee  Thanks - just chkd it out. Some returners, a short list of newbies.  Clowns = creepy for sure. Of course all of these have been creepy in their own ways. I did not like "Roanoke", actually found it boring and no interest to watch. I did make a point to see the finale, had to.

"Freak Show" was the 4th, that's where I picked up with these. I find myself looking forward to next one. Never in a million years would I ever be romotely interested in horror on tv but here I am, crazy as it is!!!  But like I said, I watch these on OnDemand Prime reruns only during the day!!!!

"The first characters for the new series have been revealed

With American Horror Story: Cult set to air in just over a month, FX have revealed five of the characters who will be in the new season.

Among those revealed are Billy Eichner, who’ll play Harrison Wilton, Alison Pill as Ivy Mayfair-Richards, Billie Lourd as Winter Anderson, Colton Haynes as Detective Samuels, and Cheyenne Jackson as Dr. Rudy Vincent – the only returning character to the series. Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, and Adina Porter are all also set to star, with Lena Dunham also making an appearance.

It was also recently confirmed that recurring star Kathy Bates will not appear in Cult. The actor has appeared in the past four seasons of FX’s hit show, but had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts."

@Jackhound Mom  I truly get what you're saying about this kind of horror.  Kates Bates is great in all of these that she's been in. She's been in a few of them.
