I've been looking into this whole Peacock thing and found a letter I received from them last year when I began my free trial.  It clearly states I will be charged $4.99, not $5.99 like they insisted the other day when I asked.  I just spoke with Spectrum to see if they offered any freebies or promotions.  The CS gal mentioned a special Spectrum Premium Trial Offer of 1 year but you need to cancel Peacock then return by doing the registration (reference # 230810-000241 which was updated 8/24/23 if anyone else is interested).  It makes no sense but, hey, I'm gonna try it tomorrow.  I was given two phone numbers (1-888-712-4221 and 212-664-7864 - again, if anyone else is interested).
