Re: All Things DAYS--February 2024

@MamaWick   Totally just my guess...not based on anything other than my own personal opinion................Something tells me Ari won't be fighting this fight alone.  It will be interesting to see if Nadia Bjorlin and/or Camila Banus come forward, too, with their own experiences.  Again, just my own opinion.  We'll see when it unfolds.  I only say this because of how Nadia reacted when I asked her specifically about the female wardrobe choices.  She was very open to discussing it and appreciated that I told her what I thought about the tight dresses, high heels indoors, no one's ever in yoga pants, etc. like in real life.  She said she was told that male viewers like to see them dressed like that.  Odd.

I wanted to be sure I didn't drop the ball this month!!  I finally got over my crud.  My mom actually ended up with pneumonia and in the hospital, but she is doing much better now.  I'm getting ready for my studio's semi-annual showcase in a couple of weeks--this year's theme is Rock through the Ages and of course, we're doing a mash up of classic rock (bob seger),  yacht rock (Jimmy Buffett) and bubblegum rock (The Monkees).

February was and maybe still is? one of the sweeps months and back in the day--it was wedding month.  I do miss the old DAYS of weddings--Jack and Jennifer, Doug and Julie, Mickey and Maggie.

Does anyone know if they did a tribute to Bill Hayes?  He was always one of my favorite characters.

I hope you all have a terrific February, since it is 'extra' long this year!!!

Wow, this really tells all:

I sure hope this does not mean that Ari is gone for good.

Re: All Things DAYS--February 2024

@Shelbelle I agree.  Hope she's not gone for good.  I think she's the best actress on the show.  I also really like Chanel.  I think she has a certain likability...cute face, sweet smile...I just like her!

I was happy today to see Eric and Sloaney Baloney.  I'm waiting patiently (tap tap tap) to find out more (tap tap tap) about the baby switch and it being Nicole's.  Sooo, wait, hmm, given the fact that they tape so far in advance and what we heard about Ari is present day, I sure hope that means she'll be around for us to find out the truth.  Sloaney Baloney's true feelings about being Mom to Jude came out today!!  I hope Eric stops playing Mr. Mom for a second to put two and two together.  Honestly, seeing him jump the way he does when the "baby" (fake) cries bugs me.  Most me simply wouldn't do that.  I mean, my hubby didn't back off with our babies -- he did the diapers and all that.  Eric should be making her get more involved -- or at least be suspicious as to why she isn't.

Today's show -- The Female Extra was see right over Everett's shoulder in the The Pub then immediately in the next scene as another character!!!

Ari will be around until the summer since they tape so far ahead. Soaps.com has more on her lawsuit. There is an adorable interview with Johnny and Chanel on You Tube, they are great friends.

Spoiler
I found the end of todays show to be quite disturbing, to burn down the Horton family home was sickening to me, horrible story line. I am a Lifer and been seeing this home since 1965, very upsetting to me. . Shame on Corday for approving this.

Me too.  It was just awful.  Can't imagine what Corday is thinking.  My favorite soap is going down the toilet....Easy guess who will be blamed.
