AMERICA'S GOT TALENT 7/16/19

Was searching for this season's AGT and couldn't find anything.

I can't believe that Brad Paisley chose Sophie for the Golden Buzzer.  There were so many other good acts.  To me, that wasn't even singing.  I can't figure out what it was.

I agree with all who went through except the cheerleaders.  That was a shock to me.  I thought that Matthew should have gone through in their place.

Chris is going to go far with his music and style.  The African children's choir were wonderful.

I agree with the golden buzzer and the cheerleaders - there were others more deserving.

Also, I've watched every episode and don't remember seeing several of the acts, in particular the orange magician who did the quick change...

I agree in that there were a couple of acts I don't recall seeing before.  Perhaps they were the ones that were shown only very briefly, a quick snippet and they got thru.

I really liked the orange guy!!  How do they do that?  I dozed off and missed one of my favorite acts - the handsome young guys who do the balancing/strength act.  I forget where they are from.  Australia?  I'm glad they got thru.

I don't know the acts by name.  Is the girl who got the golden buzzer the 14 or 15 yr. old who wrote her own songs?  And Simon told her to move on from the bullying and loner type lyrics?  She sings and then goes into quick raps?  I think the musicians are impressed most by people, esp. kids who write their own songs - and at such a young age, that's special.

I'll be routing for the blind/autistic fellow who gets behind the piano and all his disabilities fade away and he gets to be a "normal" kid when he performs his music.  To me that's a real heartbreaker and I hope he does well.

I also wanted to add, I think the talent was better last season.  More diverse acts it seemed like.

I also like the older black fellow who sings the blues and rock n roll like a pro.  I don't know anyone's names it seems.

I agree, Sophie did NOT deserve the Golden Buzzer.

First off, she didn't really sing, just talked for most of the song.

Second, her second song was simular to her first.

We get it, you were "bullied". Simon was right, move on!

For that reason alone, she didn't deserve the Golden Buzzer.

Love Chris, he has a career no matter what. I love the singer Benicio, the young male that was on the first show I think, singing The Jokes on Them. Think he did better than the original singer sings the song.

Bolded is the Messoudi Brothers (hey, I had to look it up, I don't remember names either, LOL) - here's their performance on youtube.  It is so amazing, I don't want to say anything to spoil it for you!!

@denisemb  WOWZA!!!  Thank you for that.  Best part of the whole show if you ask me.

The Messoudi Brothers w/their Dad.  From Lebanon.  I think they would be a great act for Vegas.

Funny that you mention that because I thought I was going crazy myself.  There were a few that I never saw before and I've watched every episode too.  I wonder if they had so many auditions that they couldn't show them all?  Don't recall that from seasons past!
