Starting at 7:00 pm CST - Miracle on 34th St. (the original) Maureen O'Hara and John Payne

9:00 pm - White Christmas - Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye (one of my favorite movies)   

Looks like a good night for movies.

Grateful to read White Christmas is on tonight. It’s my all time fave Christmas movie and I somehow missed it in the listings. If not for your heads up, @Katcat1, I’d watch something else and regret it. 

I’ll warm up for the event by watching Miracle on 34th St.  the original is the best one.

Don't you love Dean Jagger's (the General's) atmospheric house/inn in Vermont?  Great backdrop for all the shenanigans and musical numbers and holiday cheer in the film...

Now I am multitasking (lol) watching White Christmas and on my laptop on the QVC's forum.  I actually like all the musical numbers and this movie reminds me of my childhood and Christmas.

I thoroughly enjoyed Miracle on 34th but fell asleep in the middle of White Christmas. Hubby woke me up to go to bed. Hopefully I'll get another chance this season. Tonight is my all time favorite -- The Sound of Music.
