The Jason and Halloween movie series

Stephen King movies

Silence Of The Lambs

Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Zombie movies

Dont like violent movies, never watched:

The Godfather series

Hunger Games

Game Of Thrones

Shawshank Redemption

Never had the desire to see--

Harry Potter

Avatar

I usually like mysteries, musicals, romantic comedies, action, comedies, I enjoy some of the animated movies too.....

Travolta in his heyday was the best. He was so thin in that movie.

He had a trainer and danced his a** off. The woman they picked to be his girlfriend was horrible though.  Awful accent.

Can't believe I just thought of these:

Fifty Shades of Grey nor the other two movies that made up the trilogy.

Good Topic. I have seen plenty of movies and missed some as well. Two shows that jump out for me would be the following:

TV: Friends- I don't get the love for this sitcom.

Movie: It's a Wonderful Life- I don't know just seems sort of boring to me, and I was raised by my grandmother and love a lot of older movies, but not this, sparks no interest in me at all.

My guess is that one part of the problem is how these movies are advertised, and who their target market is.

I always thought Harry Potter was a children's series, so why would I care if they made movies about these characters?

I distinctly recall someone saying what they heard about the new movie Avatar was that it had blue people in it, and was mostly a cartoon.   Why would any adult have an interest ... unless they needed to find something to take their grandkids to?

Even though I loved that movie, I thought the comments about Travolta being such a good actor were just ridiculous.

John Travolta was an actor, a young man in his early 20s, from New Jersey, playing the part of a young man in his early 20s from New Jersey.   Uh ....  just how hard could that be?  Did I miss something?   LOL
