@ChiliPepper, I got interrupted watching
the episode so I'm going to watch
again with the On Demand
but I wish they wouldn't make it
worse by making the time frame
so short! 5 hours for a red carpet
look? Really? Lol!
I agree! That is right from the drawing all the way to the runway.
Not much time at all!

I think the short time to design
and create takes away from the show
and I wish that was different.
Maybe it saves money for the show
so the filming days are less or something.

There really was nothing truly horrible put on the runway in this challenge.
I felt kind of bad for Jesse; his school outfit was quite appropriate for school but the judges just bashed him for not being *fashionable* and *creative*.
Patey's outfit was so cute although I wouldn't consider it comfortable for travel - but then I'm a long way from 15! With her eye for patterns she'll probably create a great backpack.
I loved Patey's outfit and if you watch the last five seconds of the program they do show the back pack and it is adorable. Good job Patey!
I was very bummed they sent Jesse home (instead of Jaxson anyway) but he handled it very well (clearly better than me). He had some beautiful outfits this season and I will miss seeing what else he could have presented.
I think Jaxson should have gone home too instead of Jesse.

@newziesuzie, thanks as always for keeping the PR tread on track for us. And thank you for sharing the backpack photo.
I suppose I haven't been commenting as much because the teen designs aren't as sophisticated as the regular PR designs.
Still, I really enjoy seeing what the teen designers come up with. And I really appreciate how supportive they are of each other.
Honestly, I think the Project Runway: Junior series just may have saved the PR franchise. -- I was so irritated at this last season of PR that part of me was ready to walk away from the whole thing. Now, I think I'll give it one more season for Tim to try to repair last season's damage.

@newziesuzie, you are an angel!!! Thanks so much for keeping us on track!!! I hope you have had a good holiday season and that life is good for the new year!!!
It just occurred to me that it was thursday and so I thought I'd check over here to see if you had posted anything. Wow, it's been a while since the last PR Junior episode and, unlike this last adult PR season, I've really missed the PR teens.
I'm really looking forward to tonight's episode. lol, if I have a chance I might even rewatch the last episode that aired before the holidays (which is on at 8pm ET).
Happy New Year everyone!!!

Happy New Year fellow Runway walkers! :-)
I like watching these kids. They do their best each week and don't backstab each other. What a breath of fresh air for the Project Runway franchise.
I LOVED Zach's winning look! That skirt was just so flirty and cute. Both skirt and top were very flattering to his model. The pattern matching was great too.
I think Peatey got a pass for winning last time because tonight's creation looked nice on the model but was kinda on the simple side. I liked the little outfit with the fruits motif that Peatey herself was wearing on the show. She must have made it.
I didn't think the the garments of the bottom two contestants were awful but the long dress had a very poorly sewn bodice and the white outfit was way off the mark for "Bohemian." Gosh, there so much creative opportunity for Bohemian - she really blew it.
None of the creations were horrible. I'm really impressed with these juniors.

Great post @sandraskates!
I agree with all you said!
😊
At this stage of the game each one
going home will probably be a good
designer and I wonder if the "Tim save"
will come into play.
These young designers are impressive
and I like their attitudes as well, thats
got to be hard being cut.

I started watching this, watched several shows then lost track of it.
Who are the people who are left now? Curious.
01-08-2016 11:25 PM
@Annabellethecat66 I can only recall the names of two junior designers:
Petay - the California surfer girl.
Zach - the boy who won the last challenge.
I think there are 4 left besides the above two.
