where are products are made

Please add the country all products are made in description detail, all they say now is "overseas" or nothing. I can understand hosts don't know but it should be in product detail, ALL products.

@MAY in NC Welcome to the Forums! I'm not sure about all products on QVC, but if no country is specified, and it says "Imported," it's usually China. I agree the country should always be specified, but I don't think that's going to happen.

@MAY in NC This has been requested for as long as I can remember but it isn't going to happen. I have some Q stuff made in Vietnam. They aren't going to make it public, as to what country anything is imported from.

@MAY in NC Sometimes they have contracts to make products in several countries. Sometimes the parts are made in one or more countries but the product is assembled in another. This is true with computers. What label would you use in these cases?

Your suggestion is unlikely to happen. We have an international community.

I wish they would but with the current virus situation, I think a lot of people are angry with a certain country and do NOT want to purchase anything from that country. I certainly feel that way and if I know it comes from there, it's a no for me.

Items are made wherever it is cheapest so the customer can pay the least amount and the company can make the biggest profit.

That is the way capitalism works.

The planet is very interconnected and countries continue to grow! I remember when the cheapest things used to be made in Japan. Now China has the honor, and soon Bangladesh and others will be in the lead.

One day only robots will make items and maybe they will inhabit the moon!
