Sometime back Shawn showed  readers that had a split lens---upper part were regular glass and the bottom was magnified.  They only previewed one time as far as I know and they sold out before I could get from my chair to my computer.  Please bring them back.  They are more practical than a plain reader.  Taking them on and off is really annoying.  Thank you.

I've bought them on readers.com.  I think they always have a selection.

Walgreen carries these. I got a pair a couple of years ago.

I had to use readers while my eyes healed from cataract surgery. You can get them pretty cheap at readers.com. Just look for their bifocals.

About 5 years ago I bought a 2-pack of progressive lens bi-focal readers from QVC.  When these sold out, QVC has never offered any like this since.

I don't like the bi-focals that have the etched line with just a half-circle of magnification on the bottom half.

I have not been able to find any progressive lens with just the zero magnification on top and the magnification on the bottom.  I find tri-level progressive lens, but I only want the bi-level.

I wonder why a progressive bi-focal isn't available.  The regular bi-focals just don't work for me.
